I’m so honoured and thrilled to be selected as the new Composer in Residence for Chor Leoni Men’s Choir. An added bonus was to see this wonderful video created for the choir’s year-end concert.
These performances were recorded in June, 2021 under strict COVID-safety protocols. Following workshops and rehearsals with Erick Lichte, these sessions were filmed at Vancouver’s St. James Anglican Church. This video is a testament to the resilience of these singers and their teachers who have persevered in care for one another during this challenging year.Featuring:Burnaby Central Chamber Choir A – Carrie Taylor, conductorNorth Surrey Secondary Chamber Choir (Polaris) – Jonathan Krueger, conductorSeycove Secondary Senior Chamber Choir – Melodie Langevin, conductorSt. Thomas More Collegiate Chamber Singers (RICE) – Johnson Lui, conductorSt. Thomas More Collegiate Chamber Singers (MORE) – Johnson Lui, conductor
