My choral work; “When the Earth Stands Still”, has many many wonderful performances featured on youtube. Two of the best are done by The University of Johannesburg Choir and the Luther College Nordic Choir of Iowa, USA. So interesting to see how music can be interpreted so differently.
Les Choristes, the University of Western Ontario’s fabulous womens choir under the direction of Jennifer Moir just premiered a new song cycle I was commissioned to compose titled “Fireflowers”. May 2014 – The amazing 6 member vocal ensemble Rajaton, from Finland, and a mass choir of 400 voices performed “Your Song”, a new work commissioned by the Kaleid Festival. Thanks to Jennifer Moir for making it all possible.
In November 2013 Tabula Rasa was recorded by the Vancouver Chamber Choir for their new CD titled “A Quiet Place”. It’s an exquisite recording and the full album is one of their best in my opinion.
